Thank you for your comment. The article is not a critique of the KfW. I support its model of democratic governance. I was pointing to even more democratic models, like the Banco Popular, which is also a different kind of public bank (it's not a development bank like the KfW). I also wanted to make the point that all public banks, north and south, need to collaborate better to tackle climate change and inequality. But to do so, we need an accountable and transparent democratic governance system to support this ecosystem.
